An easy-to-use interface to chat with an AI Character (Intended for quick tests). Follow the inapp-instructions → Set an AI Model and start chatting!
⭐ 3 Things You Need to Know
- Use the Chat Menu to quickly test new AI models, Chars and functionality before setting up a more permanent Space in the Widgets Menu.
- Make sure you understand the concepts used in the Chat Menu before you move on to Widgets.
- Main Concepts to consider:
- An AI model determines the underlying engine that processes your text and generates responses, while the output is further refined by an AI Char that provides instructions regarding personality, tone, style, and behavior.
- Do you think the model made a mistake or the story is going in a direction you don't like? You can easily correct the model by editing the message (e.g. right-click on the message) or the Char's Template (Left Sidepanel). It is also an effective way to reinforce a response style.

Once you are familiar with the Chat Menu the AI model → and its settings (preset) and performance + the chars, proceed to the Widgets Menu.
A Text or (Large) Language Model (LLM) is well... A Language Model, not a Knowledge Base. It generates text based on patterns it has learned from vast amounts of data. It is a game of probability that you get real facts. Therefore, it is always a good practice to fact-check any information you get from a Language Model or any other source before accepting it... as unquestionable truth! Still, you should be impressed - a small AI model just a few gigabytes in size is already capable of responding to a wide variety of instructions that you give with acceptable quality! However, the larger the model, the better its performance tends to be - but the chances of being able to run it yourself decrease (it may be too slow or too large to fit in your RAM). Keep exploring new models, it is part of the fun!
